For Internet marketers, especially those who rely heavily on article marketing, Google rank can mean the world. The Google rank of your affiliate website or your article can be the deciding factor in how much income your campaign generates. There is a certain tension between Internet marketers/SEO experts/webmasters and Google and both sides are faced with a dilemma. Read on to see how this is relevant to you, as an Internet marketer.
In this article, you’ll find all the basic information concerning SEO or Search Engine Optimization. If you are new to this subject, you might have noticed that there is a huge wealth of information of SEO available online and it can be quite overwhelming. In this article, I explain only the most essential, bare-bones factors for optimizing web-pages. In other words: Everything you need to know to start out and nothing more.
For my first product review, I chose Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate by Chris Rempel. In this article, you will find my in-depth analysis of this ebook and learn everything you need to know to decide whether it’s worth trying for you or not. Read on for all the details.
An upsell is when you offer extensions, expansions, “gold-memberships” or related products to your customers. Often this is done right after the initial purchase (instant upsell) and the reason upsells are so popular is that they often work. A customer who has just agreed to buy your initial offer is quite likely to be willing to shell out a little more cash for the next offer as well. In my reviews, I rate upsells and especially instant upsells as scammy. In this article, I explain why.
Get-rich-quick products are almost synonymous with scams. Many people believe that this entire market is one big scam and that the only way to make money in it is by ripping off poor, gullible victims that believe you will show them how to get rich. Whether this is true or not is not the subject of today’s post. What I will focus on in this article is the fact that the word “scam” is very often misused and why it’s important to distinguish scams from bad products.
Affiliate marketing is an attractive business model, although the real reasons for this are rarely stated. They tend to get drowned out by all the hype. Contrary to what your average sales-pitch would have you believe, affiliate marketing isn’t super-easy and it very rarely, if ever, makes anyone rich over night. It also involves actual work, actual investments and actual effort. Just like a “real” business. Go figure. In spite of all this, there are still many reasons to love affiliate marketing. The foremost can be summarized in just one word: Scalability.
Update: Wow, you came all the way back to my very first post! These days, not many visitors venture this far into the depths for the blog.
You’re seeing this website after its second rebranding. It started out as “RichQuickReview”, a blog with the purpose of reviewing online marketing and “how to make money” type products. I soon noticed that those products were generally rubbish and I wasn’t very interested in them anyway, so the site became im impact. This is where I reviewed various online marketing tools, wrote about my experiences with SEO, product creation and building my own businesses. Work on those businesses soon took over all my time and posting on im impact became infrequent. Next, the site was revived as ActiveGrowth, with a team of people helping me to bring back the value that the site used to bring to the community through in-depth reviews and behind-the-scenes reports from growing our businesses.
I believe that you can learn a lot from watching someone else’s process, which is why you’ll find my original welcome post below (as well as all of my old posts, no matter how cringe-worthy they seem now).
Hello and welcome to this website! The central purpose of this blog is to provide honest, thorough and objective reviews of online marketing related products. Often, these products are presented as “get-rich-quick” opportunities and they come in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes as a simple ebook, sometimes as a complex, huge system containing video-courses, reading-material, software, special-privilege forums and personal coaching. Sometimes you’ll see peripheral get-rich-quick material sold for very particular purposes: a piece of software for finding profitable keywords, design-templates for high-conversion sales-pages or a guide on how to write attention-grabbing Google-ads, perhaps.
What you will be hard-pressed to find, however, is reliable information on whether these products are any good or not. This is a void that my site is here to fill.
