All the best,

Please leave a comment below.
Note that I don’t reply to all comments, but I do read them all. If I don’t reply to your comment, it most likely means that I agree with what you say and don’t have anything meaningful to add, myself. I appreciate and read all comments and your comments play an important part in what I write about, so keep them coming.
Spammy comments are always filtered or removed. No surprise there.

  • hi Shane,

I came in in the middle of the webinar so I’ll have to watch it on your link.

Hey I made my first dollar online! Actually I made my first $34 online on a domain I purchased on May 31! I am using the adsense 100 K. blueprint and backlink battle plan. And I got the keyword phrase from SECockpit.

I have been involved in online “businesses” since 2008. When I first read your stuff I knew I finally found someone I can trust. Thanks for looking out for us little guys.

    • Hey Tom, congratulations on your first bit of online income!
And on a recent site like that? Well done! You’ll be rolling in cash in no time. Just don’t forget about me, when you get to the top. ;)

      Cheers,
      Shane

  • Shane,

Like you, I’m one of the “last” to join the Facebook craze. I appreciate your honesty and thanks for hosting the webinar…

I’ll probably be jumping into Facebook within a month and will be very curious to hear what you learn along the way in terms of using Facebook for list building, traffic generation, affiliate marketing and paid advertising (if you ever get into that).

Thanks for being one of the “good guys” in IM.

    • Thanks, TJ!

I think I’ll give facebook advertising a try at some point. It could be a good way to get the ball rolling and get some new fans.

  • Hello Shane,
I wanted very much to comment on the webinar. First it was first rate. I’ll bet that you have been on “gotcha” webinars where the presenters were filling time, only to get hit up for the latest lame gee-wow money drain at the end…with little gained in the way of actual usable info. Not so with your webinar. I would have been shocked otherwise.

That being said, the webinar will make the most sense to someone with at least a rudimentary understanding of Facebook, which as you know, I didn’t have. I have been using it incorrectly for a couple of years now.

It came to me for the first time that maybe my reaction to the info might be similar to the reax of a total new person who has difficulty locating their C drive that I was trying to explain the finer points of SEO to.

I knew that I didn’t understand FB coming in. For example, I confess that I didn’t have a clue about Facebook “pages.” I thought a profile was the page. Boy!

My bad. I didn’t read the darn manual.

FB, as it turns out is really nothing like anything else I do. So, I went looking for tutorials. I found a fairly simple one, finally, if you or a reader is interested. Contact me for the url. (You really won’t have any trouble coming up with something on your own. And it might not be a bad idea to make a good start from scratch vid(s) for marketing purposes.)

If the reader here has a FB foundation to build on (which I didn’t) this webinar will supercharge whatever it is you want from FB. If the reader doesn’t, it will make more sense when they go do a little FB100 tutoralizing, and then come back for the webinar.

So, Shane, this was an outstanding webinar, chock full of great info, and greatly lacking in hype. Of course there as hype at the very end, but tasteful, seamless, and useful hype. No kidding.

My only problem at this point is that the webinar, while small in size, gave me a whole new universe of possibilities to gnaw on. I’m going to have to digest for awhile. I’m a quick study, but this is a lot to think about on more than one level. An important, well done webinar to be sure.

    Your fan,
    Norm

    • Hello Norm,

Thanks! Glad you liked the webinar. I did notice a good number of questions popping up during the webinar that indicated we maybe hadn’t spent enough time explaining some fundamentals. I guess Phil (the presenter) sufferes from a typical “expert” problem in that he takes certain things for granted that us newbies haven’t ever even heard about.

FB is certainly a different beast from Google, but after the webinar, I’m rather intrigued. Hopefully, I can share some good info about it in the form of case-studies in the near future.
