I agree with you. Starting a page for the short videos could be a great idea.
It could just be links to the videos or embed them. Links might make more sense on second thought.

I agree with Carol. So many marketers are using Facebook for their primary communication conduit. They obviously want to build their Facebook traffic, but I personally don’t like having Facebook as the sole means of contacting people I enjoy following. So this website or blog is a great place to add your “quick videos”, scruffy or polished.

I’ll miss anything you put on Facebook and Twitter because I check them about twice a week.
I would like an email about these quick videos and then I can choose if I want to watch them or not. I have no problem with a daily email, as long as you maintain the quality of the information.

Shane, I think you need to create a Facebook Group.
I tend to scan group postings and click to read whenever a post is made.
This will especially benefit those who check in every so often.

I like your short videos or even small post so an email is better for me than Facebook. Ive never seen your facebook post.
Don’t like Facebook for anything like this at all and a Facebook Group is not something I would be interested in. I joined a membership site a few months ago only to find out it was a Facebook Group. Unsubscribed before the month was out without hesitation.
How about a Q&A page on the site using videos as your answers?

Facebook? Seriously? (but then you had a feeling about it which is why you asked) … I’d ask myself ‘why would I want to take my clients, readers and potential customers away from MY site (where I have control) and ask them to use FB?’ Isn’t the main aim of IM via FB to get people from FB to your site? – Can you post here and ‘update’ FB telling ppl to come here to read the full account?
As for your videos, I like your tools, you’re refreshing and you have some valuable insights to share. Share them all here in a section of their own where you have control. IMO five minutes of value is worthy of a blog post and you can always curate your ‘mini-posts’ once a week?
For me – you’ve earned white listed status! If you want me to read something you can get to me via email – everywhere else is a distraction ;)
Shane just a heads up. I sent a few people to the giveaway and they are saying the link they get in their email does not work. I was tracking the entries I was referring the last few days and the link worked but for some reason today the link does now work for me either. Just a quick update on everyone who’s subscribed to answers for these comments:

For reasons announced in the video, I wont’ be mailing out all the quick answer videos. I will, however, add a page with all the videos on imimpact. And I’ll mention when there are updates in the Sunday Update videos. That way, you won’t miss any of them, even if you aren’t getting the Facebook and Twitter updates.
