The Challenge:
Announce your challenge in the comments, so you have some extra motivation to stick to it!

Please leave a comment below.
Note that I don’t reply to all comments, but I do read them all. If I don’t reply to your comment, it most likely means that I agree with what you say and don’t have anything meaningful to add, myself. I appreciate and read all comments and your comments play an important part in what I write about, so keep them coming.
Spammy comments are always filtered or removed. No surprise there.

Hi Shane,
I sent you a mail regarding integrating Hybrid-Connect with Mad Mimi. Could you do it? Cos I am really interested in your plugin but I see that Mad Mimi is not supported by it.
Hell Trishan,
Sorry, had to get this comment out of the spam folder.
In the next release of Hybrid Connect, it will be compatible with Mad Mimi as well as any other autoresponder that provides an HTML signup form.
I’m webdeveloper focussed on php right now.
I want to learn something new (new language) and have a product in mind for some time now.
I know almost nothing about what I am going to do nor how it will go but here is my chellange:
I will complete that product in a for me unknown environment from scratch till next friday.
PS: Your server wasn’t reachable for the last 15 minutes you’ve got to have a strong list.
Hi Shane.
The challenge I’ve set myself this week is to create a new website that will allow a user to enter a URL and it will report back any redirects that URL goes to.
This is handy for checking your own affiliate links or seeing if that bit.ly link that someone has placed in a forum post goes to a legitimate site or not.
While there are similar sites already in existence, my aim is to make this site a great resource for Internet Marketers.
Anyway, that’s my challenge and I’m starting on it right……now!
Cheers
Peter
Just thought I’d do an update on my challenge.
I was pretty happy with what I achieved. Managed to get the website design, coding and most of the content (still a little more to write yet) in by the challenge deadline.
You can see the results at http://redirectdetective.com/
Hi Shane,
Can you recommend a course on designing and outsourcing plugins?
If not, maybe there is some potential to make a product of your own.
Hi Shane.
My challenge this week is to find a new place to live. It should meet the following criteria:
1) Fast, reliable internet connection
2) Quiet, comfortable and free
3) Involve a beautiful young lady in her mid 20’s to mid 30’s
Now, before you say anything I want you to understand that many years ago, this would not have been a serious challenge. In fact, it was quite easily done (although, truth be told, the criteria list was inverted).
Today however, with my advanced age and failing health, it is indeed a formidible challenge that take on.
Great update, as always.
All the Best,
J.
Hi Shane –
Just want to say how awesome Word Press Hybrid Connect is (http://hybrid-connect.com/). But I know you are thinking about developing a Standalone (HTML) version which can be used for any website.
So if anyone else wants a Standalone version as much as I do – PLEASE add your name and email address to this location – so that you get FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT and DISCOUNT price if/when the Standalone version is available: http://hybrid-connect.com/standalone-version-of-hybrid-connect/
Shane and Paul need to know that at lease 500 people want a Standalone version to make it viable – so if you want one – do please let him and Paul know.
Best – Michael
Hi Shane,
I am about to nip over and have a look at 42Goals…but I know that bad habits are easy to slip into. I for example have a habit of eating when I am in the car driving…doesn’t help with weight loss I can tell you.
My goal is to lose weight by Friday and still get my work done….honest information in one week.
Well done on Hybrid Connect…if it is anywahere near as good as the other products you have offered us it will be something special.

By Friday I will have everything ready for my new Auction Profit Avalanche product release on Monday.
This includes all potential affiliates contacted and email swipes, salespages, sales vids, promo materials and download links are all working and functioning correctly.
Also my blog posts are finished and my autoresponder emails in place.
I can then sleep soundly :)
cheers Shane

I’m working on a Penguin recovery plan too. This is in a similar niche and I have reviews and material almost done. Somehow I have procrastinating pulling it all together.
Cya Friday!

I started a WordPress/SEO/Conversion training club a couple of weeks ago with a set of beta testers. So far it’s going well. My overall challenge is to get past the beta and open it up. I think I’ll need another three weeks before I can do that though. So my challenge this week is to make sure the beta testers are happy, and to add more content and to do some more work on the club site itself.
congrats for your final public release of Hybrid-Connection plugin. I am still waiting for your final release of viral quiz builder plugin. when we expect viral quiz builder plugin with huge improvements.
One more thing i wanted to know we (yours subscribers) suggest to add google plus on this plugin. When did we expect it.
thanks,
Sanjay Sharma
Hi Sanjay,
We’re having some difficulties with the development of Viral Quiz Builder, but the new features are coming along, albeit slowly.
We don’t have plans to add a Google+ feature to Hybrid Connect at this point.
Could I ask why not. I think many people like to have this features in their plugin. May be you have some strong reason for this.
I am really curious to know those reasons.
Sanjay Sharma
My goal is to record at least 4 weeks training for our membership. It normally takes me all week to do one. So no putting it off until Friday I will get ahead of myself for once :)
