  • My guess is wsosalessecrets.com

I would agree about the outsourcing. Having a full time job that I love and trying to keep up with the websites and seo is a challenge, and have made it my goal this year to do what I can to outsource.

  • Thanks Shane

    Marketing WSO Products
    Creating WSO Products
    Successfull WSO Products

    That’s my generic guesses

or maybe WSO for dummies ?

    Dave

    • I like WSO For Dummies, but that’s not it. Think: More hypey. :D

  • Hey Shane,

Here’s my guess; WSO Success Secrets

    Thanks,

    Mark

    • That’s not it, but you’re thinking in the right direction. :)

  • Hello Shawn,
Thank you for these weekly Sunday updates. They show a real discipline and commitment to do these every week and I for one really appreciate it.

Follow your heart on your business. Do what you really enjoy doing and the money will follow. Build a business that you enjoy doing every day. Whether that is doing the SEO or telling someone else to do it, I don’t think it really matters. What does is that this is something that is contributing to others and that you enjoy.

I think the name of your WSO is:
WSO Offer Guide, but I bet you wish you called it.
    Super Riches from WSOs
    or
    Get Rich with WSOs.

Have a great week, see you on the webinaar.

    • Hi Charles,

Thanks for your comment. That’s a very good way to look at it, actually. If I can focus on something that I like doing and that benefits others, then that’s surely a winning formula.

WSO Offer Guide: Generic, but not hypey enough. :)

  • Isn’t wso 3 words?

    Anyhow…WSO SUCCESS SECRETS.

Really tho’ if you are a real internet marketer ya just have to use the word, “Killer” so meebe it’s KILLER wso secrets.

    Perfect

    :-)

PS as a gemini I get 2 guesses.

    • WSO Success Secrets is exactly the kind of name I chose. But not the name I chose…

Killer WSO Secrets: I had thought of using “Killer WSO [something]” but then decided for the other name… which isn’t really much better.

  • Hi Shane …

Simply … WTF is WSO? :)

    Already registered …

    Jim

  • Hello Shane,

Hypey huh? hmmmm… then it must have “battleplan” in the name ;-)

    My guesses are:

    WSO Success Battleplan
    WSO Sales Battleplan

  • Hi Shane,
I like the idea of SEO CEO. Although I’m more in a “one man band” situation at the moment, my long term goal is to be the chief of the orchestra:-)

Regarding the product name, my guess is WSO Success System.

    Regards,
    Turan

    • Hi Turan,

I’ve also been a one-man-band most of the time. Mostly because I’m a control freak. But the more I outsource and team up with other people, the more I like it. :) Definitely the way to go.

Also: Good guess! But not quite…

  • Yes, I agree with outsourcing. The time demands increase as you get more and more into IM. I actually enjoy writing; but, I have outsourced my article creation to manage time beter.
I am a beginner at IM. I recommend learning the business first; then decide to outsource.
Shane thanks for being apart of the IM community!

    Regards
    Stanley

    • Thanks for your comment!
I recommend that as well. You can’t effectively outsource if you don’t know the tasks yourself.

  • Hi Shane

Look forward to seeing your new affiliate program, I’m guessing the product is called Backlink guru WSO, that sounds clickbanky, although I can’t see you offering a 3 clicks and everybodies a millionaire product and certainly not the sort of lame stuff that so often comes from clickbank

I agree with the becoming the SEO of your business, it’s taken me a long time to really get it but if I am going to do what I want in 2011 I need to outsource a whole lot more and I’m rolling that out now

As always thanks for sharing Tony

    • Wow, Backlink Guru WSO tops anything I could have thought of! :D

By the way: Only the name is hypey, the rest of the sales-message and the product isn’t anything like that, of course.

I wish you all the best with your ventures this year. Outsourcing is yet another skill to master, but I think it’s worth the effort.

  • Hey Shane,

Looking forward to another great webinar on next friday, can´t wait…

Now, your generic product name on WSOs…what could it be??

How about: WSO Super Secrets or WSO Success Formula or (I know you gonna love this one :-) WSO Lead Siphon or WSO Listbuiling Boss or WSO Traffic Magnet or WSO Listbuilding Booster

but it could also be WSO Battle Plan

    or How To WSO?

And with that I´m signing off on this sunday evening hoping that my IM spoiled creativity has come up with the right answer to win your next product.

    Talk soon

    Mirko

    • Thanks for your comment, Mirko!
You got some really good names in there. But you didn’t quite hit the mark. :)

  • On a more serious note and to address the first points in your video …

Had I been focusing and not multi-tasking I would have noticed it said guess the name and not suggest :)

Second, I am one of those many who make a few bucks each month but only enough to cover some of the expenses (which means I spend more than I should sometimes … :) but I have been switching the expenses from education resources to tools/outsourcing. My intention right along has always been to use $ generated at this stage (and for the foreseeable future) to build the business therefore being an SEO Boss is part of the plan.

    Best,

    Jim H.

    • I know what you mean. I think it’s the right way to go, to focus your budget more on tools, services and outsourcing than on buying information. But it’s always a difficult call, since some information can be extremely useful. But it’s a bit of a “needle in haystack” situation.

  • WSO + Profit/Success/Cash/Money/Secret + Formula/Blueprint/Battleplan/Secrets/Massacre/System

    I know my entry probably doesn’t count… :<

    • Hats off to you, Mitro. That’s a systematic approach if I’ve ever seen one. Plus, a great resource for anyone wanting to name an IM product. Just roll the dice! :D

  • This is getting to be like bidding at an auction.
Somebody has got to be the last man standing!

    My bid “WSO Launch Formula”

    Regards

    • Nice one! That would have actually been a better name than the one I chose.

  • Well it surely it should be

    WSO Cash Explosion ;)

    or

    WSO Secrets Revealed

  • Yes. Building links and doing SEO is no fun. It is no fun.

    • I like experimenting with new methods. Other than that, I can only agree: It sucks the life right outta ya….

  • Taking myself out of the equation would be a dream come true. I’m a long way off, but it’s definitely on the horizon.

I’m lousy at guessing names…even if they’re obvious.

    Winning SEO Products

  • Hey Shane,

I agree totally about focusing, as I have to almost force myself to do this daily.
At some point I will have to start outsourcing and be the CEO instead of the worker bee.

My guesses are WSO Success Strategies, Underground WSO Secrets or WSO Success Loophole is that Clickbank Hypey enough?

    Best Regards, Todd

    • I have to force myself to focus every day. I have a tendency to be a scatterbrain, so it definitely doesn’t come naturally, to me. It can be difficult, but it’s a habit worth cultivating.

Underground WSO Secrets is good. Very Clickbank Hypey. :D

  • As for SEO I’m in the same boat. I want to outsource linkbuilding, I’m in the proces of finding the right services.

    • I’ve been testing a few services as well, lately. I think hiring full-time staff is the way to go, though. Gives you more control.

  • Hi Shane,

Looking forward to the webinar on friday.. Your message is also my ultimate dream. Becoming the CEO of the business. However IMO we need to learn the trade from the bottom up. This way we can take the reigns again if we need to or if our income drops. That and also being able to know what you are talking about when guiding the outsourcers..

Is it “WSO secrets revealed”…. LOL

    Chris.

    • Yeah, I also think this is essential. When you hire anyone to do work for you, you need to be able to train them and show them exactly what they need to do, so you do need to know all the steps in your business yourself as well. As you say: Build it from the ground up.

  • You need to make sure you cram in as many IM cliches as possible in the name, so here’s my guesses/suggestions:

    1. Shocking WSO Secrets
    2. WSO Guru Secrets
    3. WSO Marketing Scams
    4. WSO Special Offer
    5. WSO Platinum Launch

As for a really generic name, what about:

    WSO Product Launches

    • “WSO Marketing Scams” would be a good title for controversy. I bet that would get a lot of people interested.

I also like “WSO Platinum Launch”… that almost makes me want to create a new product. :)

  • My guess would be WTG WITH WSO but as I didn’t have a clue what WSO was ’til I watched your video, I’m not expecting that to be right. I think you should have called it Jim’s suggestion – for Newbies like me, anyways!
I am also investing my earnings such as they are into trying to grow my business. I have outsourced some content writing – what I would really like to know is good places to outsource some of the other daily tasks?
Maybe there’s another little information product there?

    • I think the way to go is to hire outsourcers full-time and teach them how to do the tasks you want done. Because for really running your business, you can’t expect to find a ready-made service.
But it’s something I still have to do a lot of research and experimenting on, myself.

  • Is It “hidden wso secrets”

Just want to say thanks for all the content you deliver and I got my first click on my adsense site today woopee :-)

    • Congrats on the click! It’s the first sign of good things to come. :)

  • Thanks for the update. Good stuff.

And the name must be “How to WSO”.

  • Hi Shane,

    Quality video…yet again.

I think you have to outsource
to get to the next plateau in IM,
you can only take it so far as a
    one person operation.The only
    problem is finding reliable
    outsourcers.

    Still at the afiliate stage
    but I’ll get there sooner
    rather than later.

I think it’s WSO MAKE MONEY,
that’s about as generic as it gets!

Thanks for all the great advice and
    tuition Shane.Looking forward to
    Friday’s webinar.

    Mark.

    • Thanks, Mark!

Yeah, finding reliable people for outsourcing sure isn’t easy. That reminds me that I saw some good tips on how to pre-qualify people. Basically, make them jump through a few hoops before you even consider hiring them, just to see if they can follow your instructions and are motivated enough.

  • Hi Shane,

As you already know I’m a big outsourcing fan. Outsourcing is definitely the way to go. More accurately – outsourcing your work to the Philippines. Too bad too many people are doing it the wrong way…

About the name of the product,
Well, can’t compete with Mitro but I’ll try anyway:

    Total WSO Domination

    Secret WSO Blueprint

    Mass WSO Profit/s (my favorite)

    Hope I got it right.

And again, Good luck with the outsourcing CEO Shane ;)

    Yoav

    • Thanks for the outsourcing tips you mailed me, Yoav.

Your product naming skills are not to be underestimated, I see. Didn’t quite hit the right one, though.

  • I would like to guess “WSO for Newbies”

There are so many guesses, I don’t know if this
    was mentioned before.

    • Nice! I like that one. Didn’t think of it myself, though.

  • Hi Shane

I sympathize with your predicament – been there!

But, I believe you’ll know when you get the balance right between what you ‘like and want’ to do, and pass on the ‘other tasks’ you are not keen on to outsourcers.

My guess on your new product name is… “WSO Secrets Exposed”!

    • Thanks! Yeah, I’m looking for that balance. I’m getting closer and closer to it, too. What I do now is a far cry from the work I was doing a year or two ago. Much more in tune with what I really want. :)

  • Hi Shane, looking forward to your webinar.

Hmm…what does it have in it’s pocketsess?

    WSO CREATION DOMINATION!
    WSO MARKETING DOMINATION!
    WSO SALES DOMINATION!
    EASY WSO DOMINATION!
    UNLIMITED WSO SALES!
    $100,000 WITH WSO’S

OK better stop now or I’ll be at this all day.
Good luck with your WSO Shane.

    • Finally, someone plays the “domination” card! Might not be the first, actually. However, that’s not my product name either.

Interestingly, the $100,000 WITH WSO’S is kinda one of the themes of the product, even though it seems impossible to make that amount with a WSO.

  • Hi Shane,

My guess is the “Ultimate WSO Backlink Success Formula?

    Did I get it?

    Cliff

  • “Take yourself out of the equation” implies something like ‘Automate’?

So, my guess: Automatic WSO Profits/Creation

    {How you would pull that off, I haven’t a clue.}

    Whatever it is, I’m in.

    • Wow, you’re thinking too far, here. It’s not like I was leaving subtle clues about the name in the other parts of the video.

As for automatic WSO creation… well, that would be interesting, but I bet it wouldn’t last long.

      • Shane Thank you for the interesting video once again … In order to try to guess your product name I need to keep in mind that WSO means Warrior Special Offer, so I offer Super WSO System

@Stan, that’s intriguing: I see being apart from the IM community meaning NOT with the community, while a being a part of the IM community means being part of the whole …
so that a simple space in a word puts Shane in or out of the IM community

Forgive me for being picky … just having a little fun with the english language,

        Fran

  • Hey Shane,
Spot-on about being the CEO of your business, my favourite saying is “Be the General of the army, not the grunt!” As a fellow control freak, I know just how scary that can be, but it has to be done — there are only 24 hours in your day, just like everyone else’s, so you need to outsource in order to expand your business.

As for the product name, I would have gone for something like “Instant Pushbutton Success”, but knowing you, it would be more like “WSO Success Tips”? ;-)
    Terry

    • Letting go can be real difficult, can’t it? I’ve even been doing all of my graphics myself, which is quite silly, when you think about it. I’m certainly no designer and graphics sometimes take ages to make. But as a control freak, it’s difficult to see that rationally. But it comes down to the 24 hours in a day, just like you said. And maybe it’s also a process of becoming more mature, learning to pass parts of the business on into the hands of others

      • Yeah, I just ‘celebrated’ my 63rd birthday, so the 24 hours in a day concept is hitting home now! :-(

Like you, I even did my own graphics and website building (the old way, with HTML coding!) — even did a few graphics and computer courses at college to try to improve my skills (the perfectionist complex!), but it keeps coming back to that ’24 hours in a day’ problem.

So this year I decided to make 2011 the Year Of Outsourcing, and learn to relax, let the experts do what they do best, and concentrate on what I love doing myself, which is helping others.

I have always been a big believer in Zig Ziglar’s quote “You can get everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what THEY want out of life”, so that was my New Year’s resolution this year. Sounds like you are on the same path!
        Terry

  • If you wouldn’t have mentioned that it has 3 words, it would be:
“Which services to combine to create the best affiliate solution WSO” ;)

    Seriously:
    Successful WSO Creation
    Succeed with WSO’s

    :)

  • “WSO CASH GENERATOR”
    ‘WSO CASH MAGNET”

  • Hi Shane,

Yes, outsourcing is the way to take your business to the next level or bigger scale: You create the system and have your outsourcers implement it for you. Your goal is to be a “virtual CEO”.

Well, at least that’s my goal. I’ve hired and fired some outsourcers in the past 12 months. Now I have one outsourcer, who has been working for me for 3 months. She’s been taking care of some of my linkbuilding work and some article re-writing tasks, so I have more time to focus on other productive things.

I got this inspiration from reading Tim Ferriss “The 4-Hour Workweek” one year ago. I’m sure you’ve heard of that book.

So, let’s make it happen! I’ll see you at the top!

    Hope

    • Hey Hope,
Great book, and one of my inspirations too, along with the E-myth series by Michael E. Gerber — also a must-read for any aspiring entrepreneurs. Combine the two concepts, and you are well on your way to success as an internet marketer, or any other form of entrepreneurship.
      Terry

  • Hi Shane,

    I’m intrigued!

    Is it –

    WSO Profit Formula
    WSO Profit Loophole
    WSO Profit Blueprint

Yes outsourcing is just logical, but it is so hard letting go.
Especially of the bits that are fun to do.

    Cheers

  • Phil The Dill says:

All this talk about “outsourcing” — for the majority it is and will remain a load of “Pie in the Sky”

    • I don’t see why. Just look at the kind of money many people spend in IM. The same money that buys someone a big coaching course could also get them a lot of outsourcing.

Plus, I think it’s one of the most logical things to invest your profits in.

Maybe it’s a question of definition. If you’re paying someone 7 bucks to write an article for you, that’s outsourcing, IMO. Not very pie in the sky at all.

  • Hi Shane,
Cool video as always. My choice of the product name, especially when you say it is unimaginative, would be

    WSO SUPER OFFER

Is it close to the actual name? Sorry if I have repeated it after its mention on this comments section, I wasn’t able to go through the entire comments section here.
    Cheers
    Rema.

  • Hi Shane,

Outsourcing is definitely the way to go to grow your business. It’s hard but yet another one of those “skills” that have to be learned to get ahead. I’m currently doing all my link building myself but I outsource content creation and blog commenting (I hate blog commenting and I fortunately found someone who’s great at it). I hope to outsource more SEO tasks in the future when I have more budget.

From the number of incorrect guesses, your product name can’t be that generic. Not sure if someone guessed it already but my vote is…

Never mind, I’m terrible at guessing and since you mentioned FOCUS receiving a free product that distracts me and is not aligned with my strategy will be the wrong thing for my business. :)

But good luck with it, anyways!

  • Found the time for a few more guesses, this is fun, so I came back.
    Could it be

    WSO SEO MARKETING
    SUCCESSFUL WSO CREATION
    SUCCESSFUL WSO MARKETING

    Cheers
    Rema

  • My guess is:

    IM WSO Creator
    Create WSO Bonus
    WSO Bonus Creator

  • WSO Cash Generator? Actually, my first guess was “WSO Secrets Revealed” – but someone got there before me …

  • WSO Success Formula? (there have been quite a number of similar WSO’s recently – would love to hear if there’s something unique you’re offering?)

My thoughts about outsourcing… the fact that so many of us, including myself, find this a challenging area, yet one many of us need to embrace to grow to the next level, leads me to know that this is also a great business opportunity. I think most of us these days approach major tasks like off-page SEO in a similar manner (like Backlink Battleplan), so someone providing a service that accomplishes that task by “renting out trained VA’s”, complete with the desired automation tools, at a cost not much more than one would incur doing the hiring themselves, would be both a highly successful venture as well as a service that would help so many of us.

    Thanks for the updates.

    WSO Marketing secrets.

    Chris

  • Hi Shane

How’s about WSO Power Secrets or WSO Easy Cash

I had a really bad experience with outsourcing earlier in the year. But thankfully it didn’t stop me trying again.

I now outsource a lot of my content creation and some content spinning. These were the things that were always holding me back. Now I just write a short requirement spec and send out an email.

It comes down to finding someone who can research and write good articles at the right price. I just posted a job on Vworker and requested samples of their work. Then it was a simple matter of selecting based on their published reputation, the sample they provided, the quality of their English during email exchanges and of course price.

I wish I had done this earlier!!

I look forward to the webinar on Friday.

    Cheers

    Rich

  • Jonas Juul says:

It’s always great with some new updates. I agree with your aspect of outsourcing the business such as content writing etc. I do also outsource all that kind of things. And then Im more focusing on the SEO part of my business.

For the product name my guess is:
    WSO Profit Blueprint

    Greetings

    Jonas

    • Yes, but you’re a bit too late, as it’s already out of the bag. ;)

  • Hi Shane

The first thing that came to my mind when watching the video was the E-Myth by Michael E. Gerber. A lot of people start a business because they are skilled at what they enjoy doing and/or they want to work for themselves rather than for someone else.

Any business (on and offline) needs three skills sets: the entrepreneur, the manager, and the technician.

The entrepreneur supplies the vision, sees the commercial opportunity.
The manager brings order and puts systems in place.
The technicians are hands-on people. They supply output.

A good business builder would be: 33% entrepreneur, 33% manager and 33% technician.

I think that what happens frequently is that we are more technicians than managers or entrepreneurs. We put on our technician hat and forget the other two. It is something we should avoid if we want our business to grow.

Most of the time I am a technician, I enjoy doing what I do, but I wonder if this is keeping me from reaching a higher level. I should concentrate more on the management and entrepreneurial part, and outsource a technician to supply the output.

About your WSO, I wish you had launched the product a week ago. Last week I launched my first WSO, and your information would have been very useful. But, it is never too late to learn some more “secrets”.

    Wechito

    • Thanks for this insightful reply!

I consider myself very lucky to have teamed up with an amazing technician (Sam Haenni) with the SwissMadeMarketing brand, as I myself am not much of a technician. In the trifecta you outlined, I’m definitely more of an entrepreneur and a bit of a manager.

As for the WSO product: There’s some stuff in there that you can use even after releasing an offer. In fact, I’m doing two mini-case-studies on how to keep sales going at a steady rate, after the initial promotion. :)

  • Hi Shane.

Tried to access the video, but it says your youtube account is closed, you have another link for me to watch please?
