Just when you thought they were gone for good, another crazily-priced Guru product is upon us...

Today, I've got a "Guru of the Week" instead of an App of the Week update for you.
As you've probably seen from multiple sources, there's currently a new guru product launch going on, along with all the usual hype and buzz and astronomical income claims.
This one is about selling re-branded products through Amazon's FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) system.
Apparently, charging $2,000 for a product is passé, so this one comes with a price tag of $3,988 (in 4 installments - or $3,497 if you pay all at once).
I wish I was joking...
As you're probably expecting, I'm going to recommend that you don't buy this product.
Let me be clear about this:
I don't own this product, I know next to nothing about the two people behind it and I didn't even watch all of the launch videos that were created for it.
I know almost nothing about the product. So why am I recommending that you don't buy it?
Simply because of the price tag.
To be fair, here's the caveat: if you were already planning to get into this business model and you have at least $80,000 in business capital, then go ahead and buy it.
Spending 5% of your capital on information to start a business is fine. 10% is stretching it. Anything above is asking for trouble.
Note that I'm not saying this business opportunity of selling re-branded products through FBA doesn't work. I'm not even saying that you can't make that kind of investment back, if you follow the course. The simple truth is that I don't know and I'm not qualified to make that call.
But I do know this: if you have $4K burning a hole in your pocket and you want to start an FBA business, the best way to invest that money is to invest it into your business. Use it to buy initial inventory. Use it for market research, testing, traffic...
You can get a heck of a lot of value in real life learning experience from investing $4K.
But what if you do want to start this business, but you know too little about it? Where do you even start?
Two suggestions:
1) Download all the free material that was given away in the pre-launch for this guru product.
2) Buy Jim Cockrum's Proven Amazon Course, which covers some of the same material, is supposedly really good and leaves you with $3,641 to invest into starting your business, thanks to its lower price.
And that's how you can save $3,641 instantly and get the same result.
Also, if you want to know more about why I am personally not going to pursue this kind of business model (and about how I invest my time and money in my business), check out our latest podcast episode:

Talk soon,
P.S.: For those who signed up for App of the
Week: I've unfortunately been too caught up in other projects to make
another episode for this week. I am, however, busily testing new apps
and tools for future episodes. Stay tuned!
